Chameleon Solutions Ltd were asked to provide engineering technical support to convert a traditional tin can requiring a tin opener and boiled on the hob for 45 mins into a microwaveable bowl with a removable ring pull lid which required 3 mins cook time.

The capital investment required minimal outlay after a value engineering exercise identified the majority of parts on the tin line could be reused or converted to accommodate the changes in material and shape.
